The idea was born out of the creative platform of, Craft Something New in keeping with the new blends that the brand created. The festival was designed to celebrate the creativity that runs through the highly skilled ‘Costaristas’ at Costa as well as creative talent from the region. The idea was for them to share their talent with people that attend the in-store festival.
For flagship stores, we also gave them a framework to attract local creators and influencers to come and be a part of the festival by leading workshops at Costa. We created an in depth, scalable campaign toolkit with a tiered system for all regions - so they could all implement the festival with ease, no matter their budget.
As part of the toolkit which rolled out across MENA and Europe, we created a step-by-step guide on how to roll out the campaign. We included social assets which were shot and edited internally to explain the concept and encourage people to come and be a part of the first, Costa Coffee Festival of Craft.
